@Daniel , I tried with your suggestion but it keep on freezing, so i'm
stick with the "pci=nomsi" option.
@Mark : just do it this way:
sudo lspci -vvd1002: > filename.extension
in my case I choose "lspci" as filename and "log" as extension. the ">"
is the redirection command. the result is to be found in the current
directory( default is your /home)
ie. sudo lspci -vvd1002: > lspci.log
