Acer aspire 5732Z Laptop with Intel Pentium T4400 Duo Core (2.4GHz)

This laptop crashes constantly when im using Ubuntu.
I uninstalled Windows 7 64bit.
(by the way, i am using 32 bit linux so i am gonna try using 64bit and see if it makes any difference)

a friend on IRC said that it might be a CPU scaling issue??
anyways, please let me know of any updates or thoughts or whatever... (on the subject x_X)
