[Bug 561292] [NEW] Resume from sleep fails / extremely slow with fglrx

Public bug reported:

With the 10.3 catalyst drivers (8.712) resume from suspend is either
extremely slow (often takes over 5 minutes to resume) or fails
completely. The machine seems to manage to resume, but it takes a long
time until it's possible to log in (unlock the screensaver).

Further investigation with ssh and iotop reveals there's a tremendous
amount of I/O going on, mainly by the X process. Sometimes the I/O stops
after a while, other times it continues indefinitely and I have to hit
the reset switch.

I'm attaching the syslog from a failed resume. Please let me know if
there's any more information I can provide.
