[Bug 510443] Re: external usb hard drive unmounts and remounts automatically

I have further tested this issue with no luck, but can exclude the drive
is faulty. I can use it satisfactorily for any other purpose (watching
films, listening to music, transferring data, etc.) and it never
unmounts, not even when not downloading or downloading from aMule only.

This is what I attempted so far:
- It has an EXT4 file system, checked the disc for bad sectors, but the remapping did not solve the issue.
- I removed from Transmission all shared torrents, so that users would download only from the files I was also downloading, thus avoiding to heavily uploads to numerous users connected to me.
- I've searched the forums, but it's a mess, and no precisely identifiable pattern is to be found: some say it's a HD failure, some the electrical charge to the USB port, etc. I changed USB port, swapping it with the 2nd external HD, but still it's the one used by Transmission to unmount, so it's not the USB port.
- I swapped the USB cables of the two hard-drives: if it was the cable, the HD should have stopped unmounting by itself. But it didn't.

Also, one thing I noticed is that when I use the auto-remounted drive,
new files and folders are not found unless I hit refresh. And those
freshly deleted still are displayed, and if I try to access them then I
am presented with an error.
