[Bug 561829] [NEW] Since upgrading to Beta 2 Lucid, noticeable power degrading

Public bug reported:

After I installed and upgraded Lucid Beta 1 to Beta 2, the power (IE.
electrical system) weakened. Is it possible that some bug in Lucid has
caused this? Could lucid be changing the system board, like throttling
or decreasing the power supply system.

I when I use Karmic live CD, everything seems fine.

Please note it is noticeable by sound and actions. For example a
decrease in the Chassis and CPU fan. DVD burner opens significantly
slower.
