** Description changed:
I tried to run the Lucid beta2 live-cd on a Dell Inspiron 2650. When I run it without the nomodeset option I get a blank screen right afer the live-cd menu. The loading of ubuntu seems to continu without the screen.
When I run it with the nomodeset option the keyboard and touchpad do not work anymore once the purple screen comes up. I can not gather any data when running the lice-cd. I used the bug report tool on my 9.04 installation to provide system information.
