[Bug 561681] [NEW] After update kernel from 2.6.31-19-generic to 2.6.32-XX-generic, the system doesn't boot

Hi,

after updating from 9.10 to 10.04 beta1 (to help find bugs ;-) ), the
kernel was updated from 2.6.31-19-generic to 2.6.32-19-generic.

After then, the system did not boot anymore. I had to select the old kernel in grub to be able to boot.
I now updated to beta2 with kernel 2.6.32-20-generic- But problem remains. I can only boot with 2.6.31-19-generic.

Same counts for my MacBook 4,1 ...

Both systems use ubuntu 64bit
