Gnome also suddenly logged me out today while I was using Kate. And I
have absolutely no idea why it happened. Some weird Gnome shortcut to
log out???

I did install usbmount to try to fix the inconsistent usb key mounting behaviour. Could it have something to do with it? I have no idea...
If only I had time to start kernel hacking. :/
