[Bug 562936] [NEW] Harddrive becomes mad once in every hour

Public bug reported:

Everthing was fine during beta1 moving along a few days before Beta2 my
harddrive light becomes very busy and everything becomes really really
slow (e.g. cursor will lag and if I maximize or minimize a window it
will take centuries) so due to the problem if I press alt+sysrq+k and
log in again everything is fine for the next 40-50 minutes. then this
happens again. I also noted that the slow down process is gradual i.e. I
can feel he circumstances that my system is now going to slow down so
before that I often close each and every running applicate even gwibber
services. But the hardrive wont rest unless I login again.
