[Bug 563386] [NEW] Xserver crashes with latest lucid kernel when using Xv-overlay mode

Hi,

Since kernel-version 2.6.32-20.29, which includes the drm-stack from
kernel 2.6.33.2, the Xserver crashes when i want to use the Xv-overlay-
mode with KMS enabled on my 855GM-based system. With the 2.6.33.1-based
drm-stack the overlay mode worked perfectly.

I've narrowed down the bug to the file
"drivers/drm/gpu/i915/intel_display.c", by comparing the source code of
the vanilla 2.6.33.2 kernel with the latest lucid one (2.6.32-21.31).
I've added two short lines of code from the vanilla kernel into the
lucid kernel and after recompiling the "i915"-kernel module, the
overlay-mode does work again.
