Thank you very much for testing.
First of all, try to remove and add the card.
I have seen that nand core very rarely doesn't detect it.

Then try to load the drivers with debug=1 (both r582 and sm_ftl support it)
And then see what you get in the logs.

What xD card you use?
(Is it type M or not, and what size is it)

If you could join irc 5 hours from that post, (I am MaximLevitsky on
freenode and oftc), we could do some debugging.

The above is of course true for anybody that wants to test my driver.
