In windows 7, VNWare Player 3.0.1 build-227600
I installed ubuntu-10.04-beta2-desktop-i386 and just after install the gnome login window comes up.  Selection of user with mouse works fine.  Keyboard will not function to enter password. Esc will not exit password entry.
