Public bug reported:
The problem appeared imediately after upgrade from Karmic to Lucid - I can't get ATA interface working on kernel 2.6.32 while it was working without problems on 2.6.31.
Kernel says that ATA interface is "limited to UDMA/33 due to 40-wire cable" but I have 80-wire cable which worked without problems on Kubuntu versions from Breezy/Dapper to Karmic...
After it's finding devices the ATA interface gets timeout and resets in consequence after few tries it gets disabled.
