[Bug 565457] [NEW] 9.10 Not booting on dell 2350 after updates

I installed 9.10 on the system on about april 10th and was running fine.
After I initially installed it I installed all the updates and was
running great.  I used it for about 3 days.  On April 16th I installed
various update from the update manager (sorry if its the wrong name) and
when I rebooted the system will not boot to the OS.  It goes through the
bios and ran Grub but after that nothing happens.  The hard drive light
stays lit continuously, the keyboard is unresponsive.  I'm not able to
boot to the OS at all now.
