[Bug 566280] [NEW] boot freezes with kernel 2.6.32-21 after update

Public bug reported:

Unable to boot kernel 2.6.32-21 after latest updates.
The computer completely freezes after disk check and neither ctrl+alt+delete nor alt sysrq + reisub works.
If selecting recovery mode then failsafe x I can boot and things work as normal. Will investigate further tomorrow.
