Chris, Andy, et al,
Sorry for the late response. It turns out I only see this issue when
configured with dual monitors, and (for logistical reasons) I haven't
been able to set things up that way the last few days. Would you like
me to test this with the new kernel before the end of this week? (I
assume I install the kernel with 'dpkg' and it Just Works after reboot?
I've built kernels from source... years and years ago :-) ... but never
actually installed one from a .deb.)
I will be away from my external monitor on Wednesday, unfortunately, but
I could do the testing Thursday...
