Apport told me to report this (if it was not too inconvenient or something like this). So I reported it.
I assumed that since apport asked me to send it that it would be somehow useful to somebody. I was surprised that I was asked to provide more detail since really I never had anything to add beyond what apport told me. That felt strange. It first looked like some fully automated report that was only asking me for permission to be sent and then it turned into something akin to a normal report. I still don't quite know what to think of it. I thought this automated report would be treated differently from a normal report and would be looked at in a statistical and highly automated way?
>From what I read in bug 346303 I suspect that apport is less eager now anyway and would not ask to report such a warning today.
In conclusion, if you do not find this report useful, please close it.
Thanks.
