Yup, found that online as well. Tried it, but it did not really work for me. Thanx anyway.
I do have that message about my charger not being identified but so far contributed that to deveicekit-power (bug 418428). It's probably both due to a bug in the bios, maybe even the same one, although the power thing comes and goes... well comes more recently, I wish it went ;-)
I've seen reports of people using a Dell Inspiron 1501 (same mobo) that got rid of it after getting a new bios in, but mine has been on the latest&greatest for some years now and there we are.
