I can only confirm that this bug stopped appearing after a clean install in
september 2009. Before a fresh install did not solve it. Unfortunately i am
not running ubuntu anymore due to too many incompatibility issues at my
university and lack of time to constantly fix stuff. So i won't be able to
supply you with the information requested.
