[Bug 550612] Re: after installing ubuntu 9.10, mouse is inoperative

and since my bug report, system crashed, kept getting grub loading error,
was unable to fix with sgd or grub rescue disk, i reinstalled windows, but
still have not had any luck installing 9.04 or 9.10 without same problem, i
have installed 9.04 on another PC with no problems, but the hard drive was
new and blank. but would still like to install dual boot on the PC with XP.
HELP???
