Jeremy,

just as I said, the box's owner RMA'd the GT220 and substituted it with
an ATI Radeon not too long after this bug was notified, so I have no way
to test this out again. To be honest, I'd be totally unwilling to waste
both your time, my time and the box's owner time to test this against
restricted drivers. Testing the box using nouveau drivers would probably
have been useful though.

Anyway, please file this in the "nvidia hates their users" section and
let this rot.
