The guy who owned the laptop stopped using linux, and went back to using
windows. The card readers never worked under linux, and every 10 boot
ups it seemed it would not even turn on. The laptop would just flash all
the lights on and off as soon as it tried loading Ubuntu (on a clean
install with nothing extra installed on it), and I don't have access to
the machine anymore, so you might as close this one out.
