Michael, you're welcome to use whatever terminology makes you happy, but
understand that the terminology 'freeze' and 'crash' have specific,
different meanings with X.org upstream.  The practicality of it to you
is that each has a different method for analysis/troubleshooting so when
you use the wrong terminology you may get the wrong advice and thus end
up having lots of your time wasted.  But it's your time so use what you
feel best.
