I've tested it with the latest lucid version; it still doesn't work.  I
don't know what you mean by testing the "late latest kernel version"; I
certainly can't compile my own kernel and run it.  Anyway, when I tried
to resume, it didn't generate any error logs, though (perhaps because
I'm running it from an ISO CD).  I'll attach the results of apport-
collect.  Let me know if there's anything else I can do.
