Jeremy,
I haven't had any further issues with this. I can't reinstall at this point
or do to much testing on this physical machine as I still have too much
dependent on this box. (I mean I could install on another partition but then
thats additional time getting things working since I'm already triple
booting and doing so could cause havoc.) I could do so in a virtual machine
but that alters the hardware environment entirely and I therefore don't
think that there would be much use in doing so. If there hasn't been any
other activity and I haven't had problems I would attribute this to
a misplaced cosmic ray. If I can do anything else let me know otherwise just
close this bug.
