As I said in my last note, on 2009-11-09, I'm convinced that the problem was that the
machine lost power while suspending. If the data structures don't record whether
the state save completed, the resume would behave in this way.   I don't have a good 
way to generate that condition, and I don't think it is a significant problem.  I think this 
bug report should be closed as  "not reproducible".
