I have tested that patched kernel but it still doesn't boot. I tried the
radeon.modeset=0 setting with similar results.

I'm currently using an updated lucid with the last karmic kernel (as I
reinstalled karmic and updated from there).

Is there any logs or information that can we use to address this
problem.
