i am sorry i cant do that upstream-testing, its not my computer and person who usin Ubuntu on there isnt able to do it..
i know its lil hard way now to do something...but lets try, if it worked before it should now right? :)

all i can say it worked on the last kernel that was avalible on Karmic
Koala (9.10) that mostly was 2.6.27
