I'm also experiencing many freezes after plugging a new wifi pci card
using ath5k driver in 10.04 (lucid).
Jeremy, I could collect data and attach to this bug, but it seems there is nothing useful in /var/log :(
Any suggestions about how to test it? Another question: should I've to install backport modules?
PS shouldn't mention this in 10.04 release notes/know issues and propose
a workaround (if available)?
