Trawled through the linux 2.6.34-rc5 source from http://www.kernel.org/
and it appears that the file drivers/staging/rt2870/usb_main_dev.c is
now a placeholder which does nothing but include:
drivers/staging/rt2860/usb_main_dev.c

As a result: the file that needs to be patched now is
drivers/staging/rt2860/usb_main_dev.c. Attached is an example
usb_main_dev.c file, taken from 2.6.34-rc5 and manually patched to
include the necessary lines.
