Public bug reported:

My suspend only works once per boot. This means i can successfully suspend and resume, but if I try to suspend again without rebooting/shutdown the suspend process hangs.
I looked at /var/log/pm-suspend.log and it seems to me, that the kernel fails to suspend, because all the related acpi-helper scripts execute succesfully. I have attached a tarball with both logfiles.

The problem were already present in 9.10 but I thought I simply
destroyed something. But it's still present in a clean 10.04
installation . I have to admit that I really can't remember when it
first occured but I suspect it was introduced by an update.

The problem DOES NOT occure if I shut down X and start /etc/acpi/sleep.sh on text console.
Please let me now if you need more information
