[Bug 544991] Re: unr live boot: wireless not started

At first the RC1 had the same behavior: no wireless.
Then I searched for this bug in the launchpad database. A certain bug (don't remember which) had a comment on enabling the wireless interface in the bios setting.
I rebooted, entered the ASUS bios, set wlan to ON, and then it worked.
---------
Important: the linux distribution I have installed does not care wheter wlan is set in bios or not. This (Lucid Lynx) does. It is not a bug, but some users are perhaps having the same problem (566496, 555807, 554135, 548539 seem to be the case). How can users be advised that Lucid Lynx cares about wlan bios setting?
