   Please keep in mind that the backport kernel is only supported on server, so any issues you encounter with it on the desktop we will be unable to help you with. Having said that, I am glad this is fixed for you in the latest release.

I'll go ahead and mark this as solved. Please file a new bug on this
should you encounter the problem when upgrading to Maverick.
