Same for me. Note however that this thread is for the e6410. I could
make things mostly work, but not completely. Notably I cannot:
- Hibernate (would not hibernate), but I am living with suspension.
- Connect an external monitor.
For the former I am using this (just the first half) together with the
linux-image-2.6.35-020635rc6-generic kernel:
===========================================================================
Workaround:
-Use kernel 2.6.35 from ppa:kernel-ppa/ppa
-add acpi_sleep=s3_bios to the Grub commandline
-delete /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/99video and /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/98video-quirk-db-handler
-----------------------------------------------------------
I can confirm henk's workaround (#54) using:
- linux-image-2.6.35-7-generic (2.6.35-7.12 from ppa:xorg-edgers)
- Add at grub: i915.modeset=1 acpi_sleep=s3_bios
- deleting 99video and 98video-quirk-db-handler from (/usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/).
===========================================================================
For the latter, apparently the latest intel-drm-next kernels work, but
they have been backported only to Maverick (and it seems they don't talk
with the intel HD ABI in lucid). If you find anything for this, will be
immensely grateful.
