Public bug reported:

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop. On a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04,
sound comes from both headphones and speakers when headphones are
plugged in. I tried adding 'options snd_hda_intel model=hp-dv6' to alsa-
base.conf, but it didn't seem to help. Let me know if there's any more
information you need.
