Hello,

I have the same issue as Steve Farthing . It is since I updated to
10.04. After some software update the is is gone, but after some other
software update it is there again. Last week it was working for me, but
on Sunday, the update manager updated some packages and now it's
immediately resume from suspend after the second time. (first suspend is
always working). I think since I updated to 10.04 there were several
period when there were no issue, but after some update it comes again. I
tried to boot my machine with the previous kernel 2.6.32-23-generic, but
the issue did not disappeared.

I have nvidia VGA card and I have nvidia chipset. Suspend log shows now
error, suspend is performed correctly, my problem is that it immediately
resumes.

I can reproduce this anytime.
