  Hi,
  
  I just installed maverick netbook daily image and first problem is my touchpad does not work. external mouse works just fine.
  So the information as required:
  
  1. Gigabyte Booktop M1305C
  2. Synaptics touchpad but not sure what model or anything (synaptics packages are installed correctly)
  3. Problem appeared only in ubuntu. works fine in windows.

+ It also appears that thew touchpad is not detected when i tried xinput
+ list. because then something synaptics should show up.
