I am changing this bug task to "linux" as it is a sound related issue,
not an nautilus issue.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it without more information.  Would you please add the information requested from the "Reporting Sound Bugs" section of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems as separate attachments?  If you are running using Jaunty or Karmic, please run the command apport-collect -p alsa-base 529332. 
If you are running Karmic, please read through the following wiki page as it resolves a lot of common audio problems.
