Public bug reported:

Attempted upgrade over wired network connectionfrom 9.04 to 9.10.
System is Toshiba SatellitePro 4600 (Coppermine P3) w/ 256Mb RAM and 9
Gb free disk space. Clicked on distribution upgrade button in Update
Manager.  Errors creating generic image reported.  Checked hardware
compatibility first by booting from 9.10 Live CD with no problems.

When I run ubuntu-bug, I get error message "This is not a genuine Ubuntu
package" about the kernal.
