i tried to update my lucid system that i run from my usb hdd (Freecom
Mobile Drive XXS) and when updating the package acpi-support it tries to
disable acpi powermanagement. that immediately triggers the well known
errors: usb 1-4: device descriptor read/64, error .... for a couple of
times and the system goes in read only mode and freezes. Maybe this can
help solving the problem?
