Long time no see!
I think ath5k froze once again. I have been with the latest kernel 2.6.31-17 for quite some time. I know that ath5k was known not like my wireless device for some time. Recently, I thought it changed... Well I did not have obvious problems/hangs using the wireless interface. A problem occurred when the ethernet was used.
What I had was a machine hang happened according to the kernlog around 3am, when I was asleep. Here is what I subsequently found in the log:
