Wireless network worked fine until I turned off the laptop and started
up again. The newest security updates that came down to my laptop was
about 16 hr. ago. Through update manager I did a normal update then
continued working. When I restarted the laptop in the morning, it
could not find the wireless driver to use the network. I plugged in the
wired network and all is well and working fine.
I deleted the driver and reinstalled it via Hardware Drivers. Once
reinstalled, I activated it. The OS and wireless card were talking
however it would not log to the router. I rebooted the system and the
driver could not find the hardware.
How do I remove the last update items and where do I get a list of what
was downloaded.
Laptop: Acer Aspire 3680 -1.5gig ram - 80gig HD - 1.86 Intel Celeron M
Wired Connection:Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8038 PCI-E Fast
Ethernet Controller (rev 14)
Wireless built-in:Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN (rev 01)
Wireless Driver from Ubuntu: These package contains Broadcom 802.11
Linux STA wireless driver for use with Broadcom's BCM4311-, BCM4312-,
