I'm trying that but the hardware drivers method isn't working, it isn't finding any proprietary drivers. the ubuntu x team ppa is also not working, it give this result:
chris at chris-laptop:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates
