[Bug 379994] [NEW] Ubuntu 9.04 does not recognise the Elantech Touchpad

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

9.04 Live CD loads perfectly on my Clevo M570A laptop but the Elantech
touchpad is still not recognised. The left and right buttons work
though, just the touchpad itself.

This issue has been so with all versions back to 8.04 at the very least.
