After last Kernel upgrade, sound plays for a while then turns into some
click and pops and finally stops. My uname is "Linux 2.6.32-23-generic
#37-Ubuntu SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux". Everything used to work flawlessly on
a plain Ubuntu install.
