[Bug 605716] [NEW] CD/DVD Drives not recognized since upgrade to Lucid.

Public bug reported:

DVD and CD Drives are not recognize/mounted/don't work???  They show up
in Disk utility but when trying to mount via terminal I get a a device
not found error.  I can boot from them during startup but after startup
when the system is running I can put in a dvd or cd and the drive will
spin up the lights will flash and then nothing happens.  I have tried
data, CD's, DVD's, movies, music and blanks and the same result.

I am running Lucid 10.04.

This happened after my upgrade from Karmic.
