[Bug 578125] [NEW] Microphone does not work on Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q850. Numerous fixes attempted. yet none work.

This issue is present on both Version 8 "Helena" and version 9 "Isadora"

I have attempted a few common fixes.
Like running alsamixer and checking if it is muted or not. Using pulse device chooser and lowering the input volume of one of the 2 stereo mics.

Nothing works.
