  Binary package hint: linux-firmware
  
  Take what's left of alsa-firmware and try to merge it into linux-
  firmware. This will make alsa-firmware obsolete as all firmware will be
  provided by linux-firmware instead.

  maestro3 / ess
  sb16 / sb16
  wavefront / yamaha
  ymfpci / yamaha
  
  * The following should be OK to merge. The only questionmark is that the license say "Redistributable under GPL", but there is no source to the actual firmware.

  mixartloader / mixart
  pcxhrloader / pcxhr
  usx2yloader / .
  vxloader / vx
  
  * aica / . - Seems OK to merge (BSD license), it's ARM though
  
  * asihpi / asihpi - Merged in ubuntu, but not upstream
  
- * echoaudio / ea - Why does Medibuntu's alsa-firmware delete it when I
- can't find it in linux-firmware? Needs further research

  * multisound / turtlebeach - this directory is empty so there is nothing
  to merge. It creates symlinks though.
