[Bug 288448] [NEW] [Intrepid] HP 2510p function buttons without (proper) functionality

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

On my HP Compaq 2510p some of the function buttons (fn + f#) or buttons
in laptop shell aren't working or are not working proper, in Hardy they
did.

At least I found the following issues:

* battery status (fn + f8) is not working at all. [Update 22 Feb 09: Works now]
* mute changes state after a while into unmute. [Update 23 Jul 10: Seems not an issue any more]
* sound volume slider usage has no effect on master volume. [Update 23 Jul 10: Works now]

Presentation mode never worked.
