  Running Ubuntu 10.04 on my HP Pavilion dv7 latop
  After requesting for a Restart via the Ubuntu menu, the system starts it's reboot process. BUT after BIOS is loaded I just get a black screen with a cursor. It is not possible to take any action using the keyboard. It takes a couple of restart cycles before the system boots normally.
